This image represents analogous color scheme.  Analogous is the colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel.  













 This image represents monochromatic color scheme.  Monochromatic is different shades of one single color.  This image is different shades of blue.









 This image represents the complementary color scheme.  Complementary colors are opposite from each other on the color wheel.
